So it’s time to plan your party and what’s a children’s party without party packs? Unless you want your guests to be thoroughly disappointed, party packs are as essential to your party as the birthday cake and much more expensive.
It is hard to know exactly what to put in the party pack that the children will appreciate and wont cost you an arm and a leg. Below are a couple of ideas from us:
- Sweets: These are always a winner. They make your party pack contents colourful, the kids are always happy to have them and they won’t cost you much. You can buy huge bags full, open them, mix them up and put them in the packs. However, the parents may not be as excited about the gift.
- Plastic Bracelets/Necklaces: These are always a winner with the girls. Make sure you buy them in different colours, so there is a variety.
- Plastic Sunglasses: Nigeria is a hot country and there is nothing cuter than a child wearing shades. Ajapamums love the ones that come in the cute shapes.
- Socks: This may sound strange but they are a real winner with the parents. You can never have too many socks and often we can only find one leg. Buy branded socks if you can. The children will be excited to wear them if it has a cartoon character they recognize on it.
- Picture Books: If you can find one that can fit in your bag, by all means toss it in! Books will make the parent and the child happy.
- Bubbles: Bubbles never ever ever fail.
- Stationery: Pencils, Erasers, Sharpeners. Take your pick and throw them in the bag knowing that you have added items that they can use in school and at home.
- Lip balm: Great for boys and girls! The weather here causes chapped, bleeding lips and lipbalm soothes and moisturizes those lips. The parents will be thanking you.
- Hair Ribbons and Alice Bands: This is another gift for the girls. Another gift you can be sure will be used again and again and again.
- Bouncy Balls: In this day and age, it is good to remember to keep a child active and bouncy balls are a great way to do that.
You do not have to buy every item on this list, you can buy some and leave the rest. A party pack with five items in it is sufficient.
Also buying complete party packs is another way to save money. The Ajapaworld mini packs are only N1000; however it comes with a storybook, comic, dvd, poster and bookmark. The N2000 combo pack comes with three storybooks, a comic, an exercise book, dvd, poster and bookmark!
